The Post which Took a Train to Malaysia

Three more days to Sembawang Camp.

Got quite a scare this morning when my bus didn't come at all at the usual time. 20 minutes late! Rushed and ran and I prove once again it was possible to reach camp in an hour's time. LOL

Today's course took slacking into a whole new level. First lesson was around an hour's theory work. After that was a practical which we took out and changed a car's wiper.

After that, we slept and talked for the rest of the day! That's S and T of MSET for you, sleep and talk.

This few days in camp I've been seeing many of my driving course group's trainers around. They are onto their next batch. It's real good to be able to meet them and say hi and stuff like that.

Over the years, a teacher will have many students who will learn from him. Not just lessons on coursework and knowledge, but hopefully skills and lessons in life too.

A teacher may have many batches of students who come and go. Inevitably as time goes by he will surely forget some or most of them, but students will always remember who taught them the most.

My driving instructor Mr Rizal, an extremely nice fellow, met me today and it only seemed yesterday that I saw him for the first time nearly 4 months ago. He still asks his students to keep in contact and asks us out (nearly impossible to do so) but I'd appreciate the thoughts and efforts.

So I really hope I would be able to achieve that as a teacher next time. Haha..

After my two cents' worth on teachers and my aspirations, it's back to my mundane life again.

Ironical that given my stagnating life, the dreams I'm having at night seem to be going quite the opposite directions!

I'm having dreams of escalating degrees of weirdness, creepiness, supernaturalism and humour, all of which I could use a little of in my real life.

Wednesday tomorrow, three more working days to the weekend folks!
