The Post who Caught Two Illnesses

I'm done with week 3!





Brilliant brilliant week. When I say that it means there's not much to be done and loads of time to rest. Ate loads of snacks over the week so I'm finally getting the infamous Tekong Cough and a sore throat to boot. Damn.

Actually I think the Tekong Cough is just a very normal cough but since there are loads of guys sleeping together (sounds wrong) germs and viruses get spread around easily so people get sick and don't recover that quickly.

It sounds like duh, but there are many people who have funny theories about the Tekong cough.






Anyway there was this time we were sitting down when this 2nd Seargent walked past and said hi to one of my bunk mates, who is going to ORD soon. Turns out they were from the same batch. So we were all like "Man you have contacts here."

Then a while later this guy in PT kit went past.

And he stared at me.

And he went, "Are you Xiujie?"

Wahaha it's my ex Platoon Commander LTA Na from Cougar Company! H'es a full lieutenant already which is the highest rank a NSF can get so he gets a bit of respect here and there. Everyone stared as I talked to him for a while as though we're old friends.






This evening when I booked out I went to eat out with Aaron at White Sands. I was talking to him about my week and I saw this girl at this cafe we're eating at.

"Wah that girl with white complexion and braces. She's quite cute!"

Aaron gave me that -.- face.


A while later we saw LTA Na walking around again so we asked him to join us. We talked cock for really long, and it's hard to believe 9 months ago I was "YES SIR!" and "NO SIR!" to him. We had a good and funny conversation about everything and after sometime he looked around.

"Hm.. White Sands actually has quite a few good looking girls. Wah that girl with white complexion and braces. She's quite cute!"

Must be staying in Tekong for too long I guess!
