The Post who Pumped to the Bus Stop

Hello I'm back!

Another long stretch of work. Seriously tired. I went for back-to-back range details and more to be expected. Woke up at 3:45am this morning to send troops from Changi to Pasir Leba. That's from one end of the island to the other. It's a wonder I didn't fall asleep!

My day ended unexpectedly shorter today and I'm home much earlier. I'm promised a off-day this week so, well, let's not think too much about it, lest it gets cancelled again.

I responded to Chengliang's call to play pool last Sunday. A good quiet way to end a week, too quiet in fact. In the end only two of us went. Haha.

But no matter, we played quite a few games. There was this group of dudes playing at a table near us. A while later, this girl walked in and joined them. She was seriously pretty!

As a typical guy I stole a few glances at her (I have no shame here but heck). Wow, no question, looks and figure all there. She went out after that, so we played on. A while later I popped out to visit the loo, then I saw the saddest thing.

No, it wasn't her boyfriend.

SHE WAS SMOKING!

Alright, that was a bit harsh. I don't have a problem with smokers and smoking, but like many others, the cigarette smoke gets to me and leaves me with a slight distaste. I'm not saying guys look cool when they smoke but girls look quite bad when they do. Strictly my opinion though.

Anyway, I chatted with Chengliang over bowls of Katong Laksa and I realised that I've been wasting quite a lot of time in NS.

Well some argue NS is already a waste of time. No question about that, but perhaps I could have been doing more. Maybe I should read up more, pick up a few useful life skills.

He also told me to start working out again. I guess my knee injury and driver's vocation is a recipe for the sedentary lifestyle I'm leading now. No excuses, I got straight to exercise once I got home on Sunday.

Screw it, I didn't know sets of 20 pushups can be so difficult! Gotta work on it man.

Another Liverpool match, I think our luck really went out this time. Gerrard out, now Torres. Take down Carragher and I think we can call it a season.

On the very last note of a long post, I'm posting up this hilarious video. My unit's folks showed me this and it really got me laughing.

The strangest thing was that so far only the guys find it funny. I shown it to several girls as well but not much response from them. o.o

The facial expression at 1:41 is pure class! LOL
