The Post which is the Wire

Hello all again!

Has been a busy two weeks. Staying in a lot recently so I didn't have much chance or things to blog out.

Contrary to my belief and estimation, I've been told that I'll be doing ambulance duty starting from May instead of June.

Essentially, it means that my working schedule is totally screwed. One day work, one day off. It also means inadvertently one day of a weekend I'm always on duty (which really sucked) but don't really have a choice.

But if you count properly, it's a month with only half the number of working days. Woohoo!

So these few days I've been driving around to different hospitals to get a feel of what is like and where the locations are. It's pretty interesting, because it's usually a haphazard maze of people and white buildings and a lot of confusion.

Something really funny happen today.

I was in the toilet in the afternoon, doing and minding my own business. The way the toilet is designed is that you can't really see the cubicles when you enter.

So this fella (I don't know who, I was sitting down behind the closed cubicle door) walked in, presumed there was no one in the toilet and proceeded to the urinal to do his stuff.

Next thing I knew, I was treated to a high pitched nasal rendition of some incoherent song by the dude. It was f***ing embarrassing. I nearly laughed out loud.

I think the dude must have noticed because his performance was cut off abruptly, and replaced by the sounds of him hastily washing his hands and slamming the toilet door on his way out. LOL

Anyway if you think it wasn't funny, it's either a) you don't have a sense of humour, b) I really have nothing to laugh about nowadays.

Heck, it's been a hectic month. I can't wait for April to end!
